Abstract
|
|
|
Many investigators reported that pertussis vaccine increases the sensitivity of mice to histamine diphosphate or dihydrochioride
Authors have reported B pertussis vaccine possess protective antigen, histamine sensitizing factor, heat stable and labile toxin, hemagglutinin, agglutinogen and the others.
The present report represents a continuation of the previous study for protective and histamine sensitizing property of pertussis vaccine.
In this experiment the protective property of pertussis vaccine according to sex of vaccinated mice and the histamine sensitizing property of pertussis vaccine according to sex of vaccinated mice were investigated.
Results were as follows
1) Protective potency of pertussis vaccine in vaccinated female mice was relatively higher than that in vaccinated male mice.
2) There was-no significant sexual difference in response of the vaccinated mice to histamine
